I just bought 1Kg of chicken at Rs.350, we all know it's far more than the average rate per kilo. The concern here is not mine in particular(I can afford), but the major concern here is for farmers, for not getting the proper market value. So, people would say you're paying Rs.350 per kilo and of course that price will be helping the market grow and farmers in either way. But that's not true, not even close until you got to know there are monopolies or brokers, who bought at cheap prices from the farmers and selling at a higher rate, and this consequently creating the high price difference. It not only limited to meat products but also dairy, and other daily consumable goods. So, why always farmers have to deal with such insecurities? And for how long?
