An era is over. The patriarc of the Norwegian line is no more. For some weeks we've been troubled with restless packs, nervous geese, and some chickens wounded. Last night we had visit of the badger. First in the chicken house, then attacking the geese. Pys (Plinio) was what it looked like a bit limp after the figh last night, but also unormal slow and weak. The fight had caused severe damage to his teeth and mouth also due to his epulis. An absolutely wonderful dog that grew with responsibility all his life was sent to the eternal pastures this morning. He was often playing stupid, and sometimes we wonder if he was, but he had his strange rare wisdom. An amazing allround dog and the start of my maremma adventure. When dr. Dario Capogrosso found my first PMA, he said - I am pretty sure that I sold you a diplomat for the Norwegian LGSs. He was right.

This is some of a problem even if it is cute. But Nancy the goat, lost her mother when very young, but was adopted by the dogs. The problem is that she can't decide if she should play as a goat or a dog. She bucks like a goat, but loves chasing...
