My preyers to all of you 🙏
I ask all my breeder friends, new breeders and anyone else who wants to buy a little kitten and possibly show their cats at catshows.
DO NOT buy a cat from unethical breeders, like those we now see especially in China 😿
Here, dozens of cats and up to several hundred cats live in factories with small cages.
They are only allowed to move outside the cages, to take pictures, so that it seems like they have a good upbringing.
The pictures they post are also photo shopped and have filters added to things like eye color.
They are given food, water and a toilet at an assigned time, often also several cats in a very cramped cage.
They also scam by creating fake pedigrees, crossing breeds to create their "own standard look" that they believe is good for the breed.
This probably happens with many breeds in China, but since I am a Ragdoll breeder, I pay special attention to what they put out as if it is a Ragdoll.
These cats they put out as pure breed, are so far from the breed standard that most people in Europe cannot believe what we see.
It is painful and hurtful that they should be allowed to destroy our beautiful breeds in this way.
