Very saddened to hear just now that one of my old Adventure buddies, Freia, passed away earlier today.

Freia had retired from our adventures a few years back due to advancing years. But I have so many truly amazing memories from all our adventures together.

My deepest condolences go out to her wonderful mum, Ingrid 🤗🐾❤️

And just like that in a flash we had our last day of adventuring with the dogs of this doggy school year. It is a bitter-sweet emotion, as whilst we are looking forward to the holidays and recharging our legs, it also means 3 weeks without seeing our fantastic 4-legged friends. The Adventuring Year has gone by so unbelievably quickly and yet we have so many amazing memories whilst out exploring with the pups....

The temperatures are steadily climbing the last few days and look to be peaking tomorrow or Saturday. Even Oslo it seems will be getting and mini heatwave. With the thermometer continuing to go up we have been focusing on finding shade and access to clean, flowing water to allow your dogs to cool off. Today they seemed unbelievably grateful for these opportunities as we adventured....

As a kid I grew up in the shadow of King Henry VIII's private Hunting Park on the outskirts of London. Richmond Park is a little respite and sense of tranquility in the chaos of urban London. Ever since I started my professional dog adventure journey al those moons ago I have loved devouring books which would help me provide a better service for my dogs.... And therefore their owners. As the journey progressed, and I ended up with three small children, finding and allocating the time to read as many books became challenging. Over the last few months I will admit that at times I was doom scrolling on social media too much in my already limited free time....
