On this tiny island called Sanna, way out in the Træna archipelago, we saw a sign that said Moose Crossing. Moose! Out here!

Of course, Mum being the tiger mum she is, kept glancing over her shoulder the whole time—just in case a giant moose decided to join us for sunset. I didn’t see one, but I did sniff the air extra hard, just to be sure.

Later, we met a lady who has a holiday home here, and she told us the story. A while ago, three moose actually showed up at the edge of this little island. Three! The people who saw them couldn’t believe their eyes and didn’t even tell each other at first—they thought they must have imagined it. I mean, how would moose swim all the way across from the mainland through these wild, rough waters? But when they finally admitted what they’d seen, they realized it was real.

It was such a once-in-a-lifetime moment that they put up the sign as a joke.

Now every time we pass it, I wag my tail extra high—half hoping, half wondering: if a moose can make it here… what else might show up?

The sun here doesn’t really set—it lingers, painting the sky in pinks and golds just for us. 🌅 On our evening walks in Norway, the air smells like salt and pine, and the ground is soft with moss under my paws. I trot ahead, ears up, leading the way like the sled dog I was born to be, but I always glance back to make sure my pack is close.

When the light stretches across the sea, it feels like the whole world slows down—just me, my humans, and the sound of waves against the rocks. I think sunsets are for dogs too… because I can’t help but sit still, watch, and wag softly, knowing this is exactly where I’m meant to be. 🐾❤️
