I have been really bad at updating both this site, and the homepage, during a long time now. A lot has happened that has taken much of my time and energy.
We were at the European Coursing Championship in Finland this year, Martin (International Multi Champion Iosono Galileo Galilei) and Lundii (NJV-10 N UCH Biscotti Babetta) competed, and they did well doing it. A 5th and 6th place, both with good scores and Finnish certificates. It was really a great trip with lots of great people, and I was teamleader for the Norwegian team, which was a very nice experience!
It was also really nice to see Martin's breeder again and to say hi to the puppies they had at home. :D
We are planning to go to the European Coursing Championship in 2016 as well, I'm looking forwards to it!
We've been to Denmark on the Herning international show, Chiara (Biscotti Chiara Luce) took 2 certificates there, so she only needs one more Danish certificate to be a Champion. Might be going in 2016!
There is also puppyplans for 2016. Lundii was in heat now in December, she is just about finished now. So with her current cycle, I guess she'll be in heat again in October/November. More info will come as we're getting closer. :) Interested can send me a private message.
The dogs and I have rented an apartment with a friend of mine, which both helps my economy, and is really nice! Oda and I work well together, and she loves the dogs, which is really nice for me since I am now able to get a day "off" now and then.
I bought an adult bitch in April, Pixie, from Sweden. She's bred in Finland at kennel Colombian Friend's. (Her full name is Colombian Friend's Golden Cloud.)
Unfortunately she does not go too well with Lundii and Chiara, so she has to move yet again. (I am her 5th home.)
The plan is that she will be going back to her breeder so she can see if she finds her the perfect home, and so that she can have a little more control over where she lives and what happens to her.
(If you should be interested in the sweetest, most adorable little girl whom is a little shy at first, loves food more than anything else, and needs a bit of support in life, you can pm me about her, of course. She should probably be either the only dog in the house, or live with a calm, grown up male. She does not go to well with other bi***es, which has its reasons. It breaks my heart to send her to a new place, but they can not live as they are now, with stress and tension all the time.)
I've been home with my family this Christmas, which was really nice, and now I'm back in Oslo.
We've prepared for the evening, we have the turkey in the fridge, I am putting up curtains, we'll have loud music, lights on, and hope Martin won't be too scared this year. I also have the new medication, Sileo, in case he gets really stressed out. So hopefully we will have a peaceful entrance to the new year!
We also have a visitor until Sunday, a chocolate/tan saluki named Calle (Noor Inca Bar Caramel). A really sweet boy.
Well, I think that sums up most of the year, even if there are also some news that I won't tell quite yet. :)
