Dutch Racing Dog

Dutch Racing Dog We breed Greysthers. We breed mainly for the mono (duo) sports Canicross, Bikejøring & Dogscooter. We do not breed just for fun if we decide to have a litter.

We are a small Kennel with the name "Dutch Racing Dog" in Holland. Pups are born and raised in our livingroom and spend all of their time amongst us, our pack and other people. We do not use kennels in the garden, garage or anywhere else (ofcourse we use crates for sleeping time). When we breed a litter it is with great care and loads of energy. First we need the bitch or dog to develop in what sh

e/he does best... being a happy dog and she/he needs to love the sports. We at least X-ray their hips/elbows and also their back at an age of 12-18 months to see if she/he can do the sports in a safe way. Only good x-ray is not enough. The temperament is most important, we do not want hyper dogs, we do not want aggression in our dogs and we do not want to have fear in our dogs. What we do want to see is a pleasant dog who will have a big running drive and have a good focus during racing. We do not only want that for our own dogs, but we also want that for the stud we will use. I can mention health, but it is obvious for us that the bitch/dog need to be healthy. If you are interested in a pup from "Dutch Racing Dog" feel free to contact us for future breeding.

ʟᴏᴀᴅɪɴɢ 2027 .....

As some of you already know there is a future DRD litter planned between stunning Deep (German Shorthaired Pointers Kennel UPE) owned by Migle Narbutaite & Topic (Dutch Racing Dog).

I told from the beginning that it would be 2026 or 2027.
I get quite a few request for the waitlist and everybody got the same answer, there is no waitlist yet. Its to far in the future and most people do not wait that long.

ᴡʜᴇɴ:
Rob and me decided that this litter will hopefully happen somewhere the first half of 2027 (the hopefully part is the decision of nature). So not in 2026.

ᴛʜᴇ ʀᴇᴀꜱᴏɴ ꜰᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴀɪᴛ:
Topic will be 3,5-4yrs by then. We do not want to breed very young dogs. We do not have our dogs primarily for breeding but for racing and enjoying everything besides racing with them.
We want Topic to have some real race experience over a longer period of time cause we see she loves that “game”.
So thats why it will be 2027.

If you think you really want a DRD and are willing to wait, be patience. We will announce in time when we open a waitlist ☺️

Agata Aleksandra Zaremba from Dogexploreeurope came to NL for racing and have her youngest girl, Zola, x-rayed.
Zola is from our last litter, born 20-6-2023.
Results: HD-A / ED-0/0 / LTV-free

By now at least half off all our DRD “pups” are x-rayed and all have the same great results.
For us as breeders thats of great value to know 🥰

When you breed dogs you just hope the pups will live a long and happy life.
Sometimes faith decides different and a stupid accident in the forest takes a live in an instant while just being your happy self.

My thought and heartfelt sorrow goes out to Lars Mirbach & Pauline Smn.
