Tabula Rasa is a Maine C**n cattery in the Netherlands Tabula Rasa is a cattery where Maine C***s rule the house since the beginning of 2002.

Character, health and carefully chosen pedigrees have our main attention. All our cats are tested for known heriditary diseases like HCM (ultrasound and DNA), PKD, SMA, PL and Hip Dysplasia. In our breeding program we like to use cats with outcross pedigrees as well as showlines.

We have some good news to share; yesterday veterinarian cardiologist Niek Beijerink visited our home and we are happy that following 8 cats showed no signs of HCM 💕

It has been rather quiet here since we moved out of the house we lived for 20 years to a lovely new home just a few streets away.
The cats managed the move ok, lots of stress but soon they adapted to our new home. Unfortunately they will need to have a bit more patience with having access to the garden, it will take another few months until it looks like a garden and not a big mud pool 😉.
