We recently wrapped up a full garden renovation in Putten. A great project for a client we already worked with last year, when we handled the maintenance of the horse arenas and installed irrigation systems across the pastures. Even better to be trusted again to take care of the entire garden.

For this project, we delivered a complete outdoor setup. We built a carport using a tensile canopy with timber posts, installed a new pathway, seeded the lawn, and added garden lighting. To finish it off, we planted a well-balanced mix of greenery that really brings the whole space to life.

This project is a good example of what Equinorm stands for: from equestrian surfaces to gardens and grass arenas, we handle turnkey projects with a single point of contact. This way we keep things clear and efficient.

We zijn gestart met een complete tuinrenovatie in Putten!

Voor deze opdrachtgever mochten we vorig jaar al het onderhoud aan de paardenbodems uitvoeren én de sproei-installaties in de weilanden aanleggen. Extra mooi dat we nu ook het vertrouwen krijgen om de tuin aan te pakken.

Bij Equinorm nemen we alles uit handen: van paardenbodems tot tuinen en graspistes. Eén aanspreekpunt voor al je projecten. Wel zo overzichtelijk.

With Equinorm. We fully renovated the spacious fields at Training Center Het Kleef in Sevenum.

The former grass pastures have been transformed into modern sand paddocks, providing a durable, low maintenance surface that's ideal for training and turnout in all weather conditions.

In close collaboration with Hendriks Omheining and Eijkelboom Utrecht, we delivered a solid and long lasting result.

2500m² of new sand paddocks built using high quality, sustainable materials, over 11,000m² of grass areas supported by tailored fertilization advice.

The fencing is robust and horse friendly, installed with care for safety, durability and appearance. Together, we've created a future proof environment where horses have the space to move freely and quality is the standard.

Eerste duurzame rijbodem voor paardensport verkocht aan topruiter

Equinorm introduceert milieuvriendelijk alternatief zonder plastic

Equinorm heeft een duurzame rijbodem ontwikkeld die volledig vrij is van plastic. Dit is een belangrijke innovatie in de paardensport, waar traditionele rijbodems bestaan uit zand met kunststofvezels. De duurzame bodem van Equinorm wordt gemaakt van afbreekbare en gerecyclede materialen, zonder schadelijke stoffen zoals microplastics of PFAS.

De kwaliteit van de bodem is bewezen in het gebruik. Een internationaal succesvolle springruiter heeft inmiddels een grote bestelling geplaatst. “Het is geweldig dat ook de topsport onze bodem erkent als een duurzaam én hoogwaardig alternatief”, zegt Matthew de Zeeuw van Equinorm uit Utrecht.
De bodem van Equinorm bestaat uit zand dat wordt versterkt met milieuvriendelijke bindmiddelen. Dit zorgt voor een stabiele, veerkrachtige en dempende ondergrond. Dankzij een biologische coating gaat de bodem bovendien lang mee. De Zeeuw: “We zijn dit product gaan ontwikkelen omdat het steeds moeilijker wordt om een vergunning te krijgen voor traditionele bodems. En het afvoeren van oude bodems is niet alleen duur, maar ook slecht voor het milieu”.

Goed voor mens, dier en natuur
Plastic vezels in gangbare bodems breken nauwelijks af en kunnen bodem en grondwater vervuilen. De nieuwe bodem van Equinorm is volledig vrij van deze stoffen. “We wilden een oplossing die goed is voor mens, dier en natuur. En die hebben we gevonden”, zegt De Zeeuw.

De ontwikkeling van de nieuwe bodem duurde ruim twee jaar. Inmiddels zijn de eerste duurzame bodems aangelegd, en de belangstelling is groot. Begin juni is de eerste levering naar een professionele ruiter in het buitenland vervoerd. “Dat toont aan dat het echt anders kan.”

Betrouwbare en duurzame bodem
De duurzame bodem is in aanschaf iets kostbaarder dan reguliere bodems, maar heeft op de lange termijn voordelen. “Als een traditionele bodem vervangen moet worden, zijn de kosten voor afvoer en verwerking vaak hoog vanwege de vervuilende materialen. Onze bodem bevat geen schadelijke stoffen, dus ook geen hoge afvoerkosten.” Equinorm richt zich op de hele paardensportsector: van particuliere ruiters tot maneges, pensionstallen, topruiters en concoursen. “Iedereen die kiest voor een betrouwbare en duurzame bodem, kan bij ons terecht.”
