A closer look at how I feed and water my spiderlings 🕷️💧

The enclosures and lamp setups are made to stay stable during handling, especially the stacked versions, which are designed to almost “click” into place to help prevent tipping over ✨

Since 2020, Eightlegged Fluffs has been creating unique jumping spider enclosures — officially established as a business in 2022.

What started as a personal passion grew into some of the original 3D printed jumping spider terrariums within the hobby.

Every enclosure is fully designed from scratch, without copying existing designs, and developed through years of hands-on experience with my own spiders.

Over time, the designs have continued to evolve through testing, care, and valuable feedback from customers around the world 🕷️🤍

Thank you to everyone who has supported my small business over the years and helped Eightlegged Fluffs grow into what it is today.

None of this would have been possible without the support, trust, and feedback from this amazing community ❤️

Hello new followers! I'm Katjana, the owner of Eightlegged fluffs ✨

I'm based in the Netherlands (Europe) and I specialize in designing and 3D-printing unique terrariums for jumping spiders, tarantulas, and mantises.

I used to be afraid of spiders — now I understand them and love them 🤍

My journey began when I couldn’t find terrariums that matched my style and met the needs of my spiders — so I decided to start designing my own. After sharing my creations online, others became interested too, and that’s how this little shop was born.

This is purely a hobby-driven project, something I truly love doing.
Every product you see here is thoughtfully designed by me and thoroughly tested on my own spiders before being made available in the shop. I believe that both form and function matter — my goal is to create safe, practical, and visually appealing habitats that both you and your invertebrates will love.

Beyond my work with invertebrates, I’m a big automotive enthusiast — especially when it comes to Japanese cars. I even own three myself.
I also love photography, and in the past I officially photographed at automotive events and did hobby-level automotive photography.
These days I still enjoy shooting with my Sony A7IV whenever I get the chance.

Besides my spiders, I share my home with two beloved pufferfish: (my little celebrity) and .
I also have a bearded dragon named Mephisto and a 15-year-old lovebird, Nimbus (RIP 16-17-25), who has been with me since he was just six weeks old.
I live just outside the city Tilburg (NL) together with my husband, with whom I’ve been for +19 years.

My journey hasn’t been easy. I went through a long period of depression & anxiety, with therapy and medication, and eventually found stability. Along the way, I’ve learned a lot about myself and life.
Still, something didn’t feel quite right — which led me into an ADHD diagnosis journey.
I’m now working on becoming a better version of myself 🤍

An old colleague of mine reached out to me — his daughter has severe arachnophobia.

Some time ago, I gave her an elderly Phidippus regius Everglades to see if it might help. And it did 🤍

Today she took home her very own baby jumping spider to care for, the spider is from
She’ll start in a Eightlegged fluffs nano enclosure to grow up safely, and later move into a Eightlegged fluffs Classic enclosure once she’s an adult.

Small steps… but a big difference 🕷️

Because one of my videos went viral, I just want to say something to help understanding ❤️

A quick explanation about my jumping spider setups 🕷️
Slings are kept in smaller enclosures because it helps them feel safe and increases their chances of successfully hunting and growing.

I design and make these enclosures myself — they’ve been carefully thought out, optimized for their needs, and tested for years with my own spiders.

As they grow into sub-adults, they are moved into larger enclosures.
All of my spiders are captive bred and cannot be released into the wild here.

Spiders are often misunderstood, and fear sadly leads to them being harmed.
Jumping spiders are even used to help people overcome arachnophobia.
They are safe, well cared for, and thriving 🤍
Understanding replaces fear.
