Son of Zalome (Vitalis x Aljano) made a powerful statement by winning the 4-year-old class at the KWPN Young Dressage Talents with an amazing score of 94,8%. He received a 10 from test rider Marijn van Dijk! A convincing victory in a class filled with promise for the future. Congrats to owners Kim & Stephan Hirdes 🤩

After his KWPN selection and approval at the Oldenburg pferderzuchtverband, expectations are high. This year, we are looking forward to four foals by Son of Zalome 🥰

Together with her horse Forlante (by Florencio), Anniek Massop-Schilt is steadily building her way up the levels. With focus, discipline and feel for the work. Results like these don’t happen by chance 💪

In December, Anniek & Forlante competed in Werkendam and claimed 1st place in the Inter I with 67.50%, finishing more than 4% ahead of the runner-up.

Frenk is very proud to see this combination develop and perform at this level. December proved to be a successful month and very much a sign of what’s to come 🤩

Adamo offspring are proving their quality in the competition arena 🐴✨

Mad Max and Liefomia are clearly in winning form, both taking top honours in the ZZ-Z and ZZ-L levels.

Strong performances and confident tests. Horses that show they belong there. A great result for the Adamo line 🔥

Liefomia is ridden by Nicole Schaechter and Mad Max is ridden by Denise Van Der Hooft. Both combinations to keep an eye on!

Farewell to a Legend: Vivaldi 🐴✨

We received the sad news that Vivaldi has passed away.
Frenk had the privilege of being part of the committee that approved him, alongside Arie Hamoen and Jac Laarakkers, a moment he will never forget.

Looking back, that was truly an extraordinary year. As it turned out, both Vivaldi and Johnson became absolute cornerstones in modern dressage breeding.

Vivaldi stood out even then: youthful and perhaps a bit refined in type, but with a remarkable presence, an uphill frame, a strong topline and a beautiful croup. What impressed us most was his exceptional character: willing, reliable, and always eager to work.

At the time, some doubted whether he would make it to the very top of sport, but history proved otherwise. His offspring have shaped the dressage world in an incredible way ♥

With great pride and deep respect, Frenk looks back -and forward- to the lasting legacy of King Vivaldi.

✨ A special chapter comes to a close ✨

After almost twenty years of working together, it’s time for a new adventure for our dear friends Tom and Pak Pantapa. They have now taken Loupi (Guadeloupe Beau) home to Thailand: a truly special moment, that marks both an ending and a beginning 🥹

Looking back, we can only feel deep gratitude for the incredible journey we’ve shared. From the first training sessions to unforgettable highlights with horses like Tayutin, Survive, Endreo, Aha and of course Loupi, who brought home the bronze medal at the World Championships for Young Horses. It has been an amazing ride!

Year after year, Pak managed to ride every horse in the highest level, despite the limited time allowed through her visa. Her talent, dedication and connection with the horses have always been something extraordinary.

Equally remarkable is the bond we had with Tom and Pak: a partnership built not only on horsemanship, but on true friendship, mutual respect and shared dreams 🫶🏼

Now, Loupi will continue her career as a Grand Prix horse in Thailand, an exciting new chapter for both Tom and Pak! We’ll surely keep visiting each other, both here in the Netherlands and in Thailand, and our paths will always remain connected.

This has been -and will always be- a very special chapter in our lives. Thank you, Tom and Pak, for everything ❤️

During the inspections in Finland, horses were not only judged on conformation and movement, but also separately on character. ✨

This mare made quite an entrance into the judges’ area, and a stylish exit too! 🐎 She clearly impressed, scoring a 9 for character. 💫

Frenk just returned from an inspiring trip to Finland, where he had the honor of judging the championship for 2- and 3-year-old horses. Together with fellow judges Anne-Marie Mis and Marjo Björs, and under the guidance of FWB studbook president Hockus Wahlman, he assessed some truly talented young horses.

A special highlight: Stella Hagelstamm (pictured) proudly took home the challenge trophy for the best mare! 🏆🐴

What an event full of quality, dedication, and promising future stars! 🇫🇮✨
