Top 3 Most Common Mistakes with the Equestic SaddleClip ✨
✅ 1️⃣ Wrong Placement Attaching the SaddleClip to a too soft or unstable place (like a flexible pad or a loose girth) leads to inaccurate or missing data. Always attach it firmly to the left saddle flap, at an angle less than 45°, for reliable results!
✅ 2️⃣ Too Short or Interrupted Trot For symmetry analysis, you need at least 1 minute of continuous trot in each direction. Frequent walk transitions or short trots won’t work. Aim for at least 3 minutes total trot per session for the best data.
✅ 3️⃣ Lunging Setup Issues When lunging, many riders attach the Clip to a lunging girth that sits closer to the front legs. This shifts the measurement focus, exaggerating front-leg impact while reducing hind-leg data. For best comparison with ridden work, attach the Clip to the saddle even during lunging.
👉 Master these tips for better, more reliable training data and keep your horse a happy athlete!

The most seemingly simple question that haunts every horse owner is:
“Is everything okay?”

But what does “everything” really mean?
And how can you actually check it using hard data from the Equestic SaddleClip — spending just 5 minutes at the start of your ride to train in peace and stop second-guessing yourself?

All you need to do is record your first warm-up trot, before any collected work or movements.

Then, while you’re walking, take a look at these 5 graphs — your quick guides to peace of mind:

1. Trot Rhythm – the narrower this graph, the better.
If you see two peaks or a spreading base, that's a warning sign.
2. Impulse – during the warm-up trot, it should gradually increase if things are going well.
A steady or rising impulse tells you your horse is ready.
If you notice a difference between the lines when going right vs. left — it's time to investigate.
That’s where the symmetry graphs come in.
3. These three indicators will turn you into an expert on your own horse.
And they’ll never lie — unlike horses, who are naturally wired to hide lameness (yes, so predators don’t catch them).
Riders can only feel major asymmetry, mostly in rhythm, since uneven step duration is perceptible.
But asymmetry in push-off or landing? That’s where our sensor steps in.
So, let’s check the big three:
Symmetry of rhythm, landing, and push-off.
You’ll feel reassured when you see narrow, consistent peaks.
But if the graph shows double peaks, wide or uneven shapes, or peaks drifting apart — it’s time to inspect your tack or talk to a professional.
Is it complicated?
Not at all.
Narrow and even = good.
Wide and messy = bad.
Check your horse, breathe easy, and start your training with confidence.
Now you can safely go into lateral or asymmetrical work — because you know you started in balance.
And don’t forget to restart the recording, so the rest of your training session is logged in your app calendar — ready for future comparison and progress tracking.

How do you achieve perfect symmetry in your horse’s movement?
Eva’s story is proof that consistency pays off.

📈 *On June 3rd, 2025,* she received a message from us: her ride with Rosenrot was perfectly symmetrical — 100%.
That means both left and right diagonals were completely balanced.

💌 Here’s what Eva told us when we asked what changed:

> “Indeed, our dressage and jumping sessions have been going very well these past two weeks.
> In almost every training, we include ground poles: in walk, trot, and canter — both on circles and straight lines.
> This helps her build stamina and muscle, so her movement becomes more stable.”

👏 Stories like this inspire us — and hopefully you too.
Keep sharing your journey. Together, we’re making equestrian training smarter and safer.
