Let me introduce you to 🌶️ Lot of Field's Sweet Chili O'Mine 🌶️

We hope she will listen to her special call name: June 💜

June is a very special girl. She is the great-granddaughter of our unforgettable Lot (Just June of the Fields Society), the first Dutch-bred Field Spaniel ever to win Best of Opposite S*x at Crufts 2019, as well as a two-time Club Winner from the Field Spaniel Club Nederland (FSCN).

June is also the granddaughter of our wonderful Lana (With her famous name Roodkapje of the Fields Society), who followed in Lot's footsteps by becoming also two-time Club Winner by the FSCN and Best of Opposite S*x at Crufts 2025.

And of course, June is the daughter of our amazing Lexi, who has given us this beautiful litter with dad Finnley (Lot of Field's Jailhouse Espresso) Cécile Den Ouden

Carrying on a family line like this is both an honour and a responsibility. I can only hope June will help us continue the legacy of these incredible girls, but i know that is a dream.

A heartfelt thank you to my dear friends Gloria Blaauwendraat and Anne Plomp for all your support and for helping me make this difficult decision. Your friendship and honest advice mean the world to me.

A special thank you as well to Ben Kamphuis, who visits every litter and generously shares his knowledge and honest opinions. Your experience is invaluable.

Thank you to my mum Rita Mensink Harbers , who was there for the ultrasound, stood beside me during the whelping, and will be helping again tomorrow with the ECVO eye examinations. With six puppies, that's quite an adventure!

And finally a huge thank you to my husband Timo Vijvers
Breeding dogs isn't just my passion—it becomes our way of life. It means turning the whole house upside down, cleaning up endless puppy poo, giving up a lot of our free time, living amongst piles of puppy toys, laundry, cleaning, sleepless nights, and planning our lives around a litter for weeks. You give up your holiday for this life.
Thank you for always supporting my dreams, for your patience, and for being part of this journey with me. 🫶

Now the real journey begins, little June. We can't wait to watch you grow and see what the future has in store for you.

Social media...👹 / 🥰

Ik heb, en dat zullen veel meer mensen hebben, een soort haat liefde verhouding met social media. Dankzij dit fenomeen kan ik een soort 'contact' houden met veel andere hondenliefhebbers, fokkers en vrienden die verder weg wonen, een uitkomst!

Maar de andere kant is het 'influencen'.. allerlei hondenproducten, prachtige foto's van pups, voeding advies en misschien nog wel de grootste, hondentraining/trainers, van alles komt voorbij. Soms met goede zaken en adviezen, soms zonder enige onderbouwing. Leer dan maar eens onderscheiden.

Ik heb in de loop der jaren veel geleerd, zowel uit opleidingen als uit de praktijk. Maar ik voel niet de behoefte om dat voortdurend op social media te laten zien. Bovendien heb ik daar simpelweg de tijd niet voor. Als fokker werk ik daarnaast gewoon om deze prachtige hobby mogelijk te maken (gelukkig is het nu vakantie 😉).

Wat ik wél belangrijk vind, is de begeleiding van mijn pupkopers. Dagelijks deel ik foto's en video's van de pups via de app. Daar probeer ik wel af en toe ook een advies bij te geven en tips, mondjesmaat zodat het behapbaar is.
En weet je wat de meeste andere fokkers met mij zullen beamen? Dat RUST, REGELMAAT en STRUCTUUR de key woorden zijn voor hondenopvoeding (duidelijkheid dus).

Hoe dat eruit ziet? Nou op onderstaand filmpje, vakkundig gemonteerd door mijn lieve man Timo, zie je hoe de pups zindelijk gemaakt worden én weer op commando naar bed gebracht worden voor hun rust.

Dus ja, vooruit, 1 keer een Social Media bericht met iets meer inhoud dan anders. Maar de boodschap is:
Laat je niet alleen leiden door wat populair is op social media. Kijk vooral naar mensen met aantoonbare kennis én jarenlange praktijkervaring. Niet alles wat veel likes krijgt, is ook de beste aanpak voor jouw hond.
Of valt dit ook onder influencen?

✨️ They’re here! 🤩✨️

On June 1st, Lexi welcomed 6 beautiful puppies into the world 🥰

💙 4 boys
🩷 2 girls

And remarkably, they all had almost exactly the same birth weight: around 350 grams. We've never had a litter with such little variation in weight!

Lexi is proving to be a wonderful mother 🩷🥰

Een zeer geslaagde Pinkstershow 🎉
Het was warm maar desondanks lieten broer en zus zien hoe knap ze zijn 🥰

Onder Keurmeester mevr. Urek verdienden beide honden hun laatste CAC🎉 voor het Nederlands Kampioenschap.

Knappe Finnley (Lot of Field's Jailhouse Espresso), van Cécile Den Ouden, vader van ons komende nest werd terecht Beste van het ras!
Zijn zus, Lizzy (Lot of Field's Mama Mia Mocha) werd Best of Opposite S*x.

Als fokker ben ik enorm trots op deze 2 honden, wat een heerlijke karakters en knappe honden zijn ze.

Het was weer een gezellige show met vrienden!

This is a combination we’ve been dreaming of for a long time — one that brings together lines close to our hearts, with both Lot and Lana behind these pedigrees 🤩

We feel incredibly grateful and excited for what’s to come. Now we quietly count down the final weeks, hoping for a safe pregnancy and healthy, happy puppies

💜💜 Litter Announcement 💜💜

We are happy to announce a Field Spaniel litter from Saltmarshe Sadie x Ch Roodkapje of the Fields Society

We would like to sincerely thank Ingrid Walder for making this lovely male available and for all the help and support throughout the process.

Pregnancy has been confirmed by ultrasound, and we are very much looking forward to what’s to come. 🐾

Proud breeder moment!

Our homebred girl Lot of Fields’s Just Give Me a Chardonnay “Lexi” was awarded Best of Breed at the BUNDESSIEGER SHOW Dortmund under judge Oliver Barthel (D).

She achieved CAC VDH + Club, CACIB, CRUFTS Qualification & the title BUNDESSIEGER 2025 🏆

Lexi is a daughter of Periwinkle's Ticket to Ride and the wonderful Ch. Roodkapje of the Fields Society W'22, W'24, CW'22, CW'25

A special day shared with our students at Hund & Pferd — and Lexi enjoyed every bit of the attention! 🐾

In juni won Lana voor de 2e keer de Kampioenschapsclubmatch (KCM)
Tijdens deze KCM van de Field Spaniel Club Nederland was fotograaf en verslaggever Hannie Warendorf aanwezig voor een sportverslag voor tijdschrift Onze Hond.

Super leuk artikel wat Hannie heeft geschreven, met een eerste alinea die alles beschrijft wat zo is, een ras voor liefhebbers 🧡.

En trots op de mooie foto's van mijn knappe Lana (Roodkapje of the Fields Society) maar ook de door mij gefokte Cato (Lot of Fields's Dancing Q Mozzarella) staat precies op de foto zoals ze is: lief naar iedereen en in dit geval naar keurmeester mevr. R. Lochs.

Ik ben in ieder geval super trots op ons mooie ras en mijn top honden!

Lot of Fields’s Just Give Me a Chardonnay – “Lexi” 🍾💛
Today Lexi had her ECVO eye examination and her eyes are completely healthy!

As a breeder, I couldn’t be happier with these results 🥰
Just like her brother Lot of Fields’s Highway to Bordeaux – “Vinn”, who also has clear eyes and HD A results.

Now we’ll keep our fingers crossed that Lexi will come into season in spring 2026, so we can hopefully plan a lovely litter! 🐾✨
