My latest finished painting, a McLaren 620R in Paris Blue with orange striping and Richard Mille logo. A great configuration, where the blue was very difficult to paint. In most of the photos the paris blue looks too dark and flat, where it has a great depth in it. I made this painting for the owners of this stunning car. They will put it on their “Hall of fame” with 6 other paintings I made for them.

New painting!! Quite a lot of paintings in progress but today this one was picked up by the owner of this cool Audi A3! It was a present from a friend of my daughter to her boyfriend who got this Audi as hos first car! He quite liked it 🤗

Completed a large commissioned painting of an Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm. What a beast of a car. Great fun to work on all details, logo’s, texts, spoilers, carbon fiber parts! I hope you like it.

My latest painting is delivered to the owner of this stunning Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, one of the 500 GTA/GTAm cars that Alfa produced. 🍀🤍❤️In the fabulous color Rosso GTA, one of the nicest complex car colors I ever painted. And next to the real car I think I did quite well 😉! More posts will follow soon.

My painting of the new Ferrari F80! 🇮🇹
Acrylic on paper (25x10 cm).

First I searched for a nice still in the Ferrari video, then played with the configurator to make up my mind on a configuration. I love the green called Verde Francesca with a white stripe but changed my mind thinking a more racing configuration would fit the design better. Red with some white…I added the 24 number on the side, skipped the one on the bonnet as I think it would clash with a white stripe, added a white stripe on top of the car. And then added a white stripe on the side in line with the 24 design. And replaced the standard tires with race Pirelli ones. I really enjoyed the painting and hope you like the endresult!

The new topmodel of Ferrari, the LaFerrari successor, named F80 was presented yesterday. What a car! Not sure if it is as beautiful as a LaFerrari (quite sure it isn’t) but it is impressive and raw and I felt the urge to paint it immediately as a short little in-between project to be completed within 2 days. Started with finding a nice still from Ferraris introduction trailer, playing with the configurator to determine a nice color scheme! First I thought of Verde Francesca with a white racing stripe but concluded a really race colr scheme might be better, a bit 499P like…I will paint it with acrylic on paper (A4). Now working on the dark areas…to be completed soon….

We are planning to get a dog and this might be it’s mother! I made a drawing of her and gave it to the breeder. It’s a Scottish Deerhound. Hope you like it. Brings me back to my youth when I drew quite a lot of animals.

The puppy might be born in November so time to paint might reduce quite a bit then…so now quickly back to painting the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm and the McLaren 620R I am currently working on.

Suddenly remembered I didn’t post my latest finished car painting yet… quite a special one, because of the special car and because of its composition! The car: a blu corsa Ferrari 488 spider with crema leather and yellow calipers! Quite a unique and rare spec.

And the composition: the owner already has 3 artworks of his previous cars and this time he requested a painting of his latest sportscar with the car on it from several angles, including it’s interior! I did this kind of compositions before but that was quite a long time ago…took me about 20 hours to sketch, draw, improve step by step to complete the drawing on paper before starting the drawing and painting on canvas.

Time consuming but fun to do, I hope you like the result!

Let’s get it started! 🎉 I wish you all a very happy New Year!! Let’s hope for a peacefull, healthy and happy 2024!

I plan to paint a lot, do some more sports (🧐), spent more time/energy on my photography hobby, have two exhibitions and be at one or two car events with my car art.

Hello all, I wish you a merry Christmas and lovely holidays. Please have a look at my latest painting, shiney one hey!! I started it a couple of years ago, the painting of my Bezzera Giulia espressomachine. Took a while and left it standing there, working on commissions but last couple of weeks I did find some time to complete it. I loved to paint all complex reflections…of the cup, the machine itself, my kitchen and the reflection of myself making the photo the painting is based upon. Hope you like it!
