Several of our puppies are certified service-, therapy or working dogs today. Two boys from our previous litter started their detection training in different countries. This is one of them. ❤️ Both of them are very adaptive and eager to learn and we are looking forward to see them thrive.

In times where working dogs are often trained fast paced, with harsh and loud drills to perform as soon as possible, often resulting in overaroused dogs that are unable to relax, we are glad to also see trainers who care for sociability and allowing their dogs to have a life inbetween their operational tasks. Dogs, that remain social to their environment and showing a sound temperament without the loss of drive or performance.

And guess what... in the end they generally show the same pace in tracking with a higher level of flexibility and reliability. A dog trembling of excitement while pointing out a source is not automatically the most effective, neither you have to be a drill master to prepare a well performing working dog. Dog traing is not a competition. Understanding the needs and forming the potential of each dog in particular is a skill not many people have nowadays. But we are happy some of them still exist. 💕

We are breeders of quality long coated German Shepherds (Altdeutsche Schäferhunde) located in the Netherlands. Our focus lies in breeding healthy dogs with proper body proportions and gentle, loyal and solid temperament. Our dogs have a wolfy appearance, without added wolf content and are outstanding companion dogs, suitable for famlilies and active people. Each of our dogs has a pedigree, is fully DNA tested, HD/ED checked and character tested, before they qualify for breeding. We’ve established strict rules and breeding standards to support a new generation of high quality dog breeding.

We support breeding projects with similar goals in breeding all over the world. We help selected breeders with outcrosses to assure genetic diversity within their breed and we are cooperating with laboratories to improve dog DNA research, like f.e. Embark Vet, where all our dogs are tested.

We provide workshops about dog genetics, inherited health traits, dog temperament, training and psychology, based on almost 20 years experience and education.
