This afternoon is the last time this week that we are driving to Utrecht for Mientje's fifth radiation treatment.
I am so f*cking proud of our little girl for doing so well. She has stayed away from her IV needle all week, which I was really worried about. She really loves coming along, even though once we were there, she didn't want to go inside anymore.
Even the Palladia pill is a treat for her and she swallows it without any problems.
Okay, it was the first week, but for me i think Mientje is a star. After this afternoon, she has a 2-day break, and on Monday she will get a new IV needle for the coming week, and the radiation wound will become increasingly painful for her, but oh well, that is something to worry about next week.
And of course, I will explain this next week; for now, we are trying to enjoy two days together:))
Tommie is going home tomorrow; he hasn't had a fun week either—no beach, no boat, but being left alone every day. But then again, we didn't know that when planning, even though you do feel very guilty about it. But Mientje is the most important thing right now. Until the next update

Normally I wouldn't pay any attention to it anymore, but if there is anyone who can support us financially with Mientje's radiation therapy, we would be super happy. This radiation therapy is the most expensive I have ever done. The costs are enormous, so if anyone can help, please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
