It's official! 💥 SOLD 💥

Our house is sold and we are leaving the Netherlands, so my business will be closing at the end of this year. Thank you to all of my clients, past and present, who have supported my business for the last 5 years.

Sasha is a 2 year old Romanian rescue who I have had 3 sessions with since February 😅 (due to holidays, illness and clashing schedules!) However... slow and steady wins the race 💪

Sasha's owners have been implementing the various strategies I have given them to deal with Sasha's fears of strangers (predominantly men) and large groups of people. This is due to Sasha's lack of socialization when she was a puppy, and this fear will never disappear - but with the right control and management tools and education, we are helping Sasha by guiding her through each and every situation. A massive well done to Sasha's owners for all their hard work and dedication. 👏

We still have a way to go, but Sasha's body language has completely changed since I first met her, she's excellent at giving eye contact and she now comes up to sniff me within seconds not minutes. With dogs - small wins are big wins 🥰

Lieve Soof 💔🌈 Je was echt de beste! How a dog is supposed to be! Crazy, sweet, a big cuddle bear. Always friendly and cheerful, you would light up any room with your Labrador wiggle, wagging tail and big grin!

Taken waaaaaaaay, waaaaaaay too soon.

So glad I got to say goodbye to you before you passed. We had lots of cuddles and kisses, you had lots of treats and butt rubs 😂 as it should be.

Goodbye my darling. Thank you for all the fun times. Ik hou van jou 💔

Meet Toby 💙

Toby is a 3 year old rescue from Greece and despite his puppy-like appearance he weighs around 35kg.

Unfortunately Toby suffered an incident at daycare where he was attacked by a large(r) dog and since then he has become reactive to large dogs. This may seem ironic due to his size - but sometimes just one bad experience is all it takes!

We are working on his loose leash walking, communication via the leash and his handlers are now taking care of all decision-making for Toby.

As I wrote in Toby's initial notes: great dog, bad decision maker 😅

His owners are also exploring the joys of body blocking, 180 turns and engaging/disengaging from long distance triggers.

After just one session the difference is already enormous! His body language is totally different, he has a lot more confidence and the loose leash walking has improved leaps and bounds. He's also exploring more new places on a long leash to improve his confidence and expand his 'bubble'.
We still have a way to go, but we have totally got this! 🙌🙌

Bruges last week ♥️

Highly recommended 🌳 Very dog friendly and also has woods right next door! Just a 30 min walk to Bruges town centre too!

Also recommend who were also super dog-friendly 🐶🐾👏

Meet Jake 🖤

Jake is a cross between a Jack Russell and Miniature Pinscher. He is very friendly, cuddly and sweet but has some territorial issues, even at this young age. People entering the house or noises in the garden - bark bark bark. So we're working on what I call "none of your business" training 🤣🤣🤣

Jake likes things happening - so we are cultivating calmness and desensitizing him to people entering the house (and people being allowed to make noise in their own gardens!) as well as all the basic commands, leash training, recall etc. He's a very happy and enthusiastic pup and eager to learn, so we've totally got this 😎😎

Puppy socialization is tiring! Just ask my client, Saar 🖤🤍

This beautiful Stabij x Border Collie cross is just 12 weeks old meaning her socialization window firmly shuts in just 4 weeks. Luckily for Saar, her owner is working tirelessly to give her positive experiences every day and 'show her the world' 🌎

Amazing job ladies 🙌🙌🙌 keep this up and Saar will go very far! 💪🐶
