🌱 Lily harvest has begun! 🌸
The first bulbs from our own fields have been lifted and are currently being processed. Thanks to the favorable growing season, the bulbs look strong and healthy — promising excellent quality for the season ahead 💪

In the coming period, the bulbs will be prepared for forcing and export, ready to grow into beautiful lilies all around the world.

🌷 40 jaar geleden begon Wijnand bij De Jong Lelies, en al sinds 1987 leidt hij ons met passie en toewijding. Vandaag vieren we niet alleen zijn jubileum, maar ook de groei die hij samen met het team mogelijk maakte. Bedankt Wijnand, en gefeliciteerd met dit mooie mijlpaal! 🎉

🌷 40 years ago, Wijnand joined De Jong Lilies, and since 1987 he has been leading us with passion and dedication. Today we celebrate not only his anniversary, but also the growth he has made possible together with the team. Thank you Wijnand, and congratulations on this wonderful milestone! 🎉

Our rooftop may not be blooming, but something great is growing up there: 192 solar panels!
With this sustainable investment, we now generate a large part of our own energy. Most of it goes straight into keeping our lily bulbs fresh and cool ❄️

In early July, a beautiful lily from our collection was officially named by none other than Lily Yohannes. After an impressive season with Ajax Women, she’s now making a dream move to top club Olympique Lyon! 💫⚽

The lily will proudly carry her name: ‘Yohannes’.
A special moment for Lily — and for us as a company.

🌸✨ A Special Moment at the National Lily Summit in Niigata 🇯🇵

On June 26–27, the National Lily Summit in Niigata 2025 brought together lily professionals from across Japan and the Netherlands under the theme:
“Lily of Hope – Toward the Next Generation.”

With inspiring talks by Mr. Rian Vletter (Vletter & Den Haan) and Mr. Hiroshi Kubo, as well as valuable discussions on the future of the lily industry, the summit was filled with inspiration, innovation, and international exchange 🌍💬

We are proud to share that during this event, one of our own lilies was officially named: van Gogh – a bright yellow lily from the LA-hybrid group 💛

It was an honour to be part of this meaningful moment, surrounded by passion for lilies and a shared commitment to the future of our industry
