Er wordt veel geschreven over stress op het werk. Stress is niet goed. Het zorgt voor een hoger ziekteverzuim, burn out en ontevreden medewerkers. Honden lijken de oplossing om stress op het werk te verminderen.

Stray dogs in the Netherlands

In honor of 4/4 World Stray Animals Day, Dog Research did investigate how the Netherlands did solve her stray dog problem. The Netherlands is one of the few countries in the world that currently has no stray dogs problem. By 1800 there were many stray dogs in the Netherlands The research focuses on the factors and parties involved in solving the stray dog problem. In addition there are recommendations for countries where the stray dog problem still exists.

Er is vorig jaar door Dog Research een onderzoek gestart naar de interesse bij Nederlandse hondenprofessionals om zich bij een internationale organisatie voor hondenprofessionals aan te sluiten. Naar aanleiding van de resultaten zijn er gesprekken gevoerd met IACP en is hun website vertaald. The International Association for Canine Professionals bestaat sinds 1999 en predikt kwaliteit voor hond en baas maar neemt daarin een neutrale positie in (niet voor of tegen technieken, methoden, instrumenten).
