Last week in Toronto, a group organised in protest to release from 3 weeks detention - a family dog charged by the local authorities as looking like a banned breed (pit bull).

The love for the animal finally trumped all the odds. Blu- an American Bully was freed after 22 days.
However the dog community is not resting. The are pushing for a change against Breed specific Legislation that has seen some dogs discriminated against.
That is in one man's country.

As kennel clubs, breed associations in Nigeria, what legislations can be pushed to protect our four legged friends even from unscrupulous breeders and owners? Let's talk.
