The fastest way to lose chicks is to assume they’ll “adjust on their own” after arrival.
Let me explain…Why Brooding is very important
Brooding is just the special care you give day-old chicks in their first 2–3 weeks.
At this stage, chicks can’t control their own body temperature, they get cold easily, they get stressed quickly, and once stress starts, death follows fast.
So during brooding, you become their mother hen.
You are responsible for:
✅ Giving them steady heat
✅ Making sure feed and water is always available
✅ Keeping them safe from cold, stress, and disease
If this stage is not handled well, they will grow slowly, fall sick easily, and many will die before even reaching 3 weeks.
