🥭🐖 CAN PIGS EAT RIPE MANGO?

Absolutely! But there’s a right way to do it. 👇

Ripe mango can be a tasty and useful supplement for pigs. It provides natural energy, moisture, some vitamins and adds variety to their diet. Plus, using surplus mangoes can help reduce farm wastage. 🌿🥭

⚠️ BUT REMEMBER: Mango should not replace a balanced pig feed. Too much can cause loose stool or diarrhea because of its high sugar and moisture content.

👉 Feed moderately, and avoid allowing pigs to consume large quantities of mango seeds/pits.

“Doc, please… my goats are dying. I was told you’re the only one who can fix it!” 🐐🚨

That was the call we received yesterday evening. We arrived promptly and, on examination, discovered a series of health challenges affecting the goats.
As professionals, we didn’t waste time. We assessed the animals, commenced appropriate treatment, and later advised the farmer on proper management, hygiene, feeding and preventive measures to help keep the herd healthy.
