It’s a month today you crossed the rainbow bridge sweet girl, Jello. Though hearts are still heavy with missing you, we find so much comfort in knowing that her legacy of love lives on. Today, we were overwhelmed with emotion as we unpacked the generous donation of her favorite food and toys. As we placed her soft toys into the kennels of our current rescues, we watched scared tails start to wag and saw shy dogs come out of their shells, comforted by a toy that once brought Jello joy. It was a beautiful, poignant reminder that her gentle spirit is still here with us, bringing comfort to those who need it most. Rest easy, sweet Jello; you have earned your angel wings, and through your family’s incredible kindness, you are still wrapping this shelter in your love.
