The veteran Igbo Highlife/Egwu-Ekpili musician joined his ancestors today, October, 29, 2020.
Emeka Morocco Maduka (Ozonweluibe) hailed from Ukwulu in Anambra state. He died aged 76.

BEEN IN HARMONY WITH CHI.
In Igbo philosophy and psychology been in harmony with your Chi determines alot in your endeavors of life.Without your Chi's approval of your activities in life,you are wasting your time and energy.
There a popular saying "onyeburu chiya uzo ogbagbonyiya na oso"meaning nobody can be faster than his Chi or nobody can be faster than his shadows).
Igbo believe in Chineke as the creator of mankind.But their view and philosophy of God are a bit different from christian position of God.
Igbo's from bring don't believe in myth of Father,Son and Spirit.They believe everyone has a personal Chi, creation to helps,guide,direct, protect and fight spiritual warfare,for other physical half being.

In Igboland Chi's are different and performance for individuals according to personal destiny from creation.
Somehow, one can say,that igbo's believes that Chi is too personal as individuals Chi's vary according to their per-destiny from day of creation.
There are common practice in igboland before for individual who wish to know from their Chi about their fortune before embacking on some adventure through Egba Afa, Echo uzo,Echo ihuchi,Eju uzo,through gifted Dibia's that are specialized on that.
Majority of Dibia's that specialized on Egba Afa will tell you what to do to create harmony with your Chi.But christianity today blend in to Egba Afa through their priests, prophets,visioners etc are existing cultural practice adopted by many modern christian group while such cannot be found in European countries that introduced christianity introduced to Africa.

When one is in harmony with his Chi he will succeed where others failed.His journey in life becomes easier:Akachi,Munachi,Chisom,Chibuzo, Chikaodinaka, Chimdueje etc are very common name in igboland.A fate is sealed from creation:ihechi sire na madu gabu ka oga agbu(what your chi said you will be in this life, that will you will be).Meaning, destinycan not be changed in life.
Whatever your chi say will happen in your will surely happen in life.

Igbo Burial Customs

In ancient times, the friends, relatives and in-laws of a very sick Igbo person were invited by concerned members of the kindreds when it became obvious that the hope of survival was not just lost but that the immediate death of the sick became inevitable. They were asked to visit and know how the person felt.

Once the person dies, some people will head to a diviner to know the exact thing they can do to let his soul rest. Many will get palm fronds from which they harvest the material the used to weave burial mats known as Ute ekwere. Few people will be engaged in cleaning the co**se, barbing and paring its finger nails. After this, the deceased is dressed gorgeously and kept properly. Finally, the co**se is covered with the weave and buried that same day. Immediately the co**se is buried, people who participated use Newbouldia leaves (Ogilisi) to cleanse themselves and head to their places to bath. People from such places or from prisons bath with saltwater water into which Newbouldia leaves is squeezed if the person is traditional. There was nothing like food at the burial place that day.

The idea of getting a co**se to mortuary to violate a co**se is a recent invention. The co**se is allowed to decompose naturally as a result any form of embalming is not supported because such may have denied the deceased the opportunity to reincarnate in the family. I believe that if the mortuaries were in existence in olden days, the families that took their relatives to mortuary where the vital organs were being dispossessed for pig farmers and ritualists.

To date, all Igbo traditionalists warn their children never to get their bodies to mortuary. Those who defied the advice were equally seems meet dooms. Worst still, because some dead souls are very wicked, they will always start their revenge in a very unrecognized and insignificant way. In a long run, when nothing is left in the family, possibly when few deaths or madness are already recorded some people will start rethinking to know how to get the solution to their problems.

Dr. Akanu Ibiam, former Governor of Eastern Region (1960-66), also died on thisday 1995, aged 88.

EMPTY SHAKARA!
A guy took a taxi as he was going to work and sat next to a very pretty and fair lady. He greeted her and asked her for her name but she ignored him...

He removed his phone from his pocket and made a fake call...

"Hello, as he said , wash all those cars and park them east wing of the estate.
I'll be back in a week's time!!!

He continues

"I had to even take a taxi to the airport to catch my flight to Dubai. Open my bed cupboard, u will see the sum of $25,000 use it for ur needs, ok..."

The lady was starring at him while he pretended with the fake call.

Very convinced that he got her, he stopped the call and asked her,

"Why are u looking at me like that?" 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

She replied,

"Take, this is the battery of ur phone. It fell down when u were removing ur phone out of ur pocket..."

The Guy couldn't make pim for over
5 seconds , his shirt
Was soaked with Sweat...
