Today we'll be having a discussion on something very important, *Parvo viral enteritis*, or simply *Parvo.*
It is a serious disease that can affect dogs.
1)What is Parvo?
Parvo is a virus, highly contagious affecting mainly dogs, especially puppies. It attacks the intestines, causing vomiting,diarrhea and dehydration
In young or unvaccinated dogs,it can be detrimental, life-threatening if not treated quickly.
2)signs and symptoms
Below are some signs and symptoms that could mean your dog has Parvo:
✓Vomiting
✓Diarrhea which is usually bloody and foul-smelling
✓Loss of appetite
✓Weakness
✓Fever
✓Weight loss etc
3) *How It's Spread and Why It's Dangerous.*
The disease spreads mainly through direct contact with p**p(f***s) of infected dogs.
Even a tiny amount on the ground, on your shoes, or on another dog can pass the virus.It's dangerous because:
✓It spreads very easily
✓It survives in the environment (like soil or floors) for months
✓It can kill a dog quickly if not treated
-If a dog that has the virus passes out f***s(p**ps) and your dog that doesn't have the virus comes in contact with it or eats it, your dog will come down with the virus.
That's not to say if your dog comes in contact with any f***s (p**p) at all, it'll come down with parvo, *NO*
Only p**p from the dog that has the virus.
Moving on can parvo virus 🦠 be prevented ?,yes it can 😁but how:😔
4)Prevention Tips
✓Vaccinate your dog.
This is the most important step to prevent against the disease
✓Avoid exposing puppies to places with many dogs until they’re fully vaccinated
✓Keep your dog's space clean, ensure proper sanitation.
