Rabies is a deadly virus that attacks the brain and nerves of animals and humans. Once the signs appear, it almost always leads to death.
Rabies can be gotten through the bite or scratch of an infected animal (like dogs, cats, bats, foxes).
Even a lick on broken skin or an open wound can spread rabies.
Rabies spreads easily from animals to humans. That’s why vaccinating pets is not just about them — it’s about protecting YOU too.
👉 Signs of Rabies in Pets are:
* Sudden aggression or unusual friendliness
* Excessive drooling or foaming at the mouth
* Fear of water or bright light
* Weakness, staggering, or paralysis
Once these signs appear, it’s already too late!
Rabies is so scary because once symptoms start in humans or animals, there is NO cure. Death is almost certain.
👉 The Good News – Rabies is 100% Preventable! 👇
* Vaccinate your pets regularly (not just once, but keep up with boosters).
* Keep your pets away from stray or wild animals.
* If bitten or scratched by ANY animal, wash the wound with soap and water immediately and rush to the hospital.
