BREAKING: PDP agent arrested with N25.9m cash for alleged vote-buying in Kaduna State. The money is believed to be earmarked to bribe voters in Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency election in Kaduna.

The suspect, Shehu Aliyu Patangi, was apprehended around 3:30am on Saturday in a popular hotel along Turunku Road in Kaduna metropolis by operatives of the Police and the Department of State Services (DSS), working in collaboration with other security agencies.

Moments ago, the Council Chairman of Guma and Benue ALGON Chairman, Hon. Maurice Orwough visited the scene where fulani herdsmen kïllǝd two persons and tortured a lady who they kïdnæppǝd.

The unfortunate scene happened today at Ngban, a settlement in between Daudu and Yelewata. The two vïctïms of of the sad incident are: Terkimbir Iorhen Igbawua and Mlumun Igbawua.

Hon. Orwough who rushed to the scene ordered security operatives to enforce full operations. He also took the tœrtured lady who regained freedom from her abductors to the hospital and she has been receiving treatment.

The council chairman also directed the Local Government Security Secretary to release funds for the burial of the victims slated for tomorrow.

He assured the people that in no distance time, the crises would be a thing of the past, reiterated his promise to prioritize the security and safety of the people.

Hon. Orwough was accompanied to the scene by the Council Chairman of Ukum; Hon. Jonathan Modi, Council Chairman of Buruku; Hon. Raymond Zege and PSA to Benue Governor on Protocol and Wardrobe; Hon. Emmanuel Iorbee.

The 10-Month-Old Aondosoo has been discharged from The Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), Makurdi.

He was among the few rescued alive after the assault that claimed the lives of over 200 people, including children, women, and the elderly in the recent Yelewata h0rrifik Yelewata ma$aka in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.....

Kogi State University (Prince Abubakar University) is mourning one of it's lecturer who died 3 days ago.

He died in a hotel room with a 200 level student during active bedroom service!

The lady has been arrested and is still in the custody of the Nigeria police.

It was discovered that he took a lot of energy drinks before starting the act. It is said that he drank energy drink that has 'long neck'. (Users already know). Postmortem toxicology report is still being awaited to know if other substances were involved.

He collapsed midway during the performance. Authorities are trying to determine if she didn't poison him hence her continued detention.

His name is Dr Olabode Abimbola Ibikunle. The case is currently at the Anyigba Area command Headquarters of the Nigeria police.

Just In: Former President Muhammadu Buhari passes away in London

President Muhammdu Buhari is dead.

His former aide, Bashir Ahmad, announced the passing of the former president on X.

He wrote: “The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus. Amin.”

President Buhari, who served as Nigeria’s civilian president from 2015 to 2023 after previously leading the country as a military head of state between 1983 and 1985, was known for his stance on anti-corruption and efforts to stabilise the economy.

Further details regarding burial arrangements are expected to be released by the family in accordance with Islamic rites.
