Dr Tessy's Veterinary Hospital is a subsidiary of Dr.Tessy’s Veterinary Limited located in Ibadan, Oyo State.
We are an indigenous Veterinary Practice that has been in business Since 2004.
We Specialise in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery.
We have a Client base spanning the western states in Nigeria.
Our clients keep returning and trusts our Medical Services because, our dedicated teams run a 24 hours duty shift, ensuring uninterrupted services in a well equipped facility with diagnostic equipments such as X-rays Machine, Ultrasound Machine, Automated hemo Analyser, Serum Biochemistry Analyser etc.
Veterinary doctors, in our Practice diagnoses, treats, and helps prevent diseases and injuries in patients.
Their duties include examining animals, performing surgeries, administering medications, and educating owners about animal health. They also play a role in animal reproduction, health management, conservation, and biosecurity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnosis and Treatment: Examining animals, taking medical histories, performing diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans.
Surgery: Performing various surgical procedures, such as spaying, neutering, and treating injuries.
Medication: Prescribing and administering medications to treat illnesses and injuries.
Preventive Care: Administering vaccinations, performing parasite control, and providing nutritional advice.
Education: Educating owners about animal health, disease prevention, and proper care.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate patient records and billing information.
Collaboration: Working with other veterinary professionals, animal shelters, and rescue organizations.
Emergency Care: Providing emergency medical care to animals in distress.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Experience in animal medicine, surgery and diagnostics
*Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
*Knowledge of animal behavior and care
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment
*Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree
*Licensure to practice Veterinary Medicine in Nigeria
*Experience in Veterinary Clinic or hospital setting is a plus
