Each year during its General Session, WOAH celebrates the Members that achieve disease-free status or have had their control programmes endorsed. This year at the , several Members were added to this list:

1. New Foot and mouth disease (FMD)-free zones with vaccination were recognised in Argentina, the Republic of Korea and Russia.
2. New zones were declared free of foot and mouth disease without vaccination in Bolivia and Brazil.
3. Chinese Taipei was declared free of Classical swine fever (CSF).
4. Mongolia’s FMD control programme was endorsed.
5. Saudi Arabia was declared free of African horse sickness (AHS).
6. Tanzania’s dog-mediated rabies control programmed was endorsed.
7. Two zones in the UK were declared as having negligible bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) risk.
