It’s long overdue and with a very heavy heart, I’m the bearer of the sad news for our equestrian centre in Pemba. For those, who haven’t heard from me yet, we are closing our gates. The cyclone in December has not only destroyed our stables but ultimately lead to my decision to take the boots off and unsaddle the horses. We have been facing tough economic times and many of our clients have left. It is now time to give the horses their well deserved (early) retirement. They have found a beautiful and caring home at Mr. Dule‘s farm, where they can enjoy large grass paddocks and still wander along our beautiful beaches. I’m thanking each and every one of you, who made this equestrian centre so very special. Take care, and all the best for your future equestrian adventures. 😘Team Caval-O-Mar and Susen.
