Hypoallergenic, meaning it is LESS LIKELY to cause an allergic reaction. There is no such thing as non-allergenic, but there is hope! Lots of hypoallergenic dogs are bred to reduce reaction so that you too, get to enjoy the unconditional love of a puppy. Here’s a few things you need to do before you get a dog, and yes, it’s possible to have one of your own!

1) Know what you are allergic to, is it the hair? is it the saliva? is it their skin? Most of the time is the protein in their skin, that gets transferred to their hair.

3) Determine your budget, hypoallergenic dogs can further reduce reaction if you regularly groom them. Regular grooming is beneficial for all dogs, but if you are an allergy suffered, regular grooming are specially helpful, but it is not cheap, so do make sure you are prepare for that.
4) Find a trustworthy, reputable breeder. That guarantees that your future dog is healthy, isn’t mixed without you knowing and is cared for before it came into your care. That helps prevent lots of future training problems and medical bills down the road.
