People who’s been with us know that we don’t play when it comes to antibiotics. We don’t prescribe antibiotics like candy, only if really indicated. Everytime we prescribed antibiotics, we will definitely orally remind all owners again to finish the whole course even improvements are seen, so why antibiotics needs to be finished?

1. Eliminating “persister” bacteria to prevent relapse
When you begin antibiotic therapy, susceptible bacteria are rapidly killed, and you may feel symptom relief within a day or two. However, a small sub‐population of bacteria or known as the “persisters” can survive this initial onslaught because they’re in a dormant state or have other survival strategies. If you stop treatment too soon, these persisters can regrow and cause a recurrent infection that may be harder to treat

2. Reducing the risk of antibiotic resistance
Stopping an antibiotic course early exposes bacteria to sub-lethal drug concentrations. Surviving bacteria, whether true persisters or those with spontaneous resistance mutations are then “selected” to multiply. Over time and across many patients, this selective pressure drives the emergence of antibiotic-resistant strains. Incomplete courses have been linked to prolonged illness, higher healthcare costs, and infections that are increasingly difficult or even impossible to treat

🧚‍♀️ Despite us trying our very very best, we are still unable to please everyone… As a team, we always try our extremely best in providing the best treatment plan we can offer to treats all furbabies, but somehow our effort still get doubted, and even misunderstood as MONEY MINDED and HEARTLESS.

We asked ourselves many many times, is joining the vet industry the best choice? After all the misunderstanding? The hoaxes even after we did our best. Then, we turned our head and saw all the furkiddo we’ve treated, running eating pooping happily. YES IT IS ALL WORTH IT. We couldn’t control how others think of us, we will use those time to standstill, be true to ourselves, and continue to STRIVE AND IMPROVE IN OUR SERVICES, so we will not let down everyone that has been trusting us. WE WILL NOT BE DISHEARTENED. BECAUSE THE RECOVERY OF YOUR FURBABIES HAS ALWAYS AND FOREVER BEEN OUR FIRST PRIORITY.
