Secret Tips To Tame Your Hamsters! 🐹
Not all hamsters are the same! Just like people, each one has its own personality. Some are shy, while others are super tame and love spending time with you.

Shy hamsters usually run or jump away when approached. They may move cautiously or even shiver in your hand. Sometimes, they’ll avoid taking treats from you.

On the other hand, tame hamsters will calmly sit on your hand, walk around, or even exercise on your palm. They may groom themselves while with you, too! Some happily take food from your hand and eat when you’re nearby—it’s because they feel comfortable and trust you. Some even feel safe enough to nap on you!

At KL Hamsters Farm, we always remind families that taming takes patience and consistency. It’s normal to get a few nibbles or even bites during the process (we’ve been bitten and nibbled plenty of times, too!). That’s all part of how your hamster learns to trust you.
