🐾 🚨 WHAT IS GOING ON, MBPJ? 🚨
Residents and feeders at PJS Taman Medan, Petaling Jaya, are shocked and deeply saddened after MBPJ dog catchers turned up and took away several community dogs today.
The reason given? A claim that the dogs had bitten someone.
But here is what the actual residents living on the ground have to say:
🐶 Harmless & Familiar: These dogs have lived in the area for a very long time. They are community dogs, cared for, and have never posed a threat to anyone.
🗣️ No History of Aggression: Local residents are insisting that an incident like a dog bite could not have happened without their knowledge. No one in the immediate vicinity has heard of or seen any such issue.
This brings up a massive question for Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ):
* Why was there absolutely zero communication? * * Why didn't MBPJ reach out to the regular feeders or inform the nearby residents before acting on a single, unverified claim?
Taking away community dogs without consulting the people who feed, manage, and live alongside them every day isn't just unfair—it lacks transparency.
We are urging MBPJ to clarify this situation, provide proof of the alleged incident, and work with the community instead of against it.
