Home of Hope - One Home, Endless Hope

Home of Hope - One Home, Endless Hope Independent feeder & helping strays — feeding, medical aid & re-homing. By day, I work in customer service. By heart, I am a full-time rescuer and feeder.

I'm Munes, an independent animal rescuer dedicated to establishing Home of Hope, a sanctuary built on love, second chances, and everyday acts of kindness.
- A humble refuge in the making, born from the belief that every animal deserves a second chance I currently feed 14 dogs and 6 cats daily outside — and I cook daily for all of them, including the 4 rescued ones at home. Wherever I go, I carry

kibbles. If they’re in pain, I get them help — because most of the time, I’m the only one who sees them. I also get them spayed, take them for medical care, and follow up — because I know they only have me.

🌱 My Wish

I dream of building a real sanctuary where any animal in need — be it dog, cat, civet, monkey, bird, or cow — can find shelter, healing, and love. I want to create a place where everyone belongs and no one is forgotten.

💗 Donations & Help

I’ve never asked much — but I welcome kindness in any form:
- Food: kibbles, rice, chicken, fish
- Supplies: cooking tools, medicine
- Funds: for spaying, treatment, and daily care

Right now, I’m caring for many, mostly on my own. If you'd like to help, I’m grateful as I currently run everything alone as an independent rescuer. For those who believe in my cause and would like to contribute, here are the banking details:

🐾 🚨 WHAT IS GOING ON, MBPJ? 🚨
Residents and feeders at PJS Taman Medan, Petaling Jaya, are shocked and deeply saddened after MBPJ dog catchers turned up and took away several community dogs today.
The reason given? A claim that the dogs had bitten someone.

But here is what the actual residents living on the ground have to say:

🐶 Harmless & Familiar: These dogs have lived in the area for a very long time. They are community dogs, cared for, and have never posed a threat to anyone.
🗣️ No History of Aggression: Local residents are insisting that an incident like a dog bite could not have happened without their knowledge. No one in the immediate vicinity has heard of or seen any such issue.

This brings up a massive question for Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ):

* Why was there absolutely zero communication? * * Why didn't MBPJ reach out to the regular feeders or inform the nearby residents before acting on a single, unverified claim?

Taking away community dogs without consulting the people who feed, manage, and live alongside them every day isn't just unfair—it lacks transparency.

We are urging MBPJ to clarify this situation, provide proof of the alleged incident, and work with the community instead of against it.

It’s my small habit to always carry a little extra food, always ready to help a hungry soul that I might meet.
Just being prepared for the unexpected, I never leave home without them.
Love how ProBalance has small individual packs. Let’s all try to carry a little kindness in our bags! 🐾✨

It’s not just about the food; it’s about the connection. Whether it's a wagging tail or a quiet moment of trust, those two minutes remind them (and us) that they aren't forgotten.

So why is that there is no action taken on illegal traps?

So why is that there is no action taken on illegal traps?

Animal rescuer Mahaletchumy Ramanaidu says she feels helpless over the lack of action despite repeated complaints to Perhilitan and other agencies.
