Day by day more information surfaces on the imminent problem of food security. Food production techniques and technology need to move towards consuming less resources as they becomes scarcer. Methods like aquaponics and hydroponics have shown great results but Malaysia is still lagging behind in overall education and awareness. Baby steps that need to turn to strides sooner rather than later.

Scientists warn that a rise of 2°C in temperature could put food production at risk in 64 countries.
