Hi everyone,

Can I be honest with you?

Whenever an organisation asks for donations, it is natural to wonder whether the appeal is genuine, where the money goes, and whether your contribution will really help.

So here is exactly why SAFM is asking today.

The puppies in the poster were abandoned and rescued from the streets. Before they can safely join our adoption programme, they need basic vaccination to protect them from serious diseases.

We also continue feeding rescued dogs under SAFMโ€™s care while they wait for adoption.

๐Ÿถ RM45 sponsors one puppyโ€™s vaccination
๐Ÿฅฃ RM120 sponsors one bag of kibble

We need vaccinations for 30 puppies and another 26 bags of kibble after securing 24 bags.

Total still needed: RM4,470.

If you have supported SAFM before, thank you. Your previous contribution helped the animals who needed us at that time. Rescue work is ongoing, and new abandoned animals continue to arrive needing food, vaccination and care.

SAFM is a registered Malaysian animal welfare NGO established in 2020. Contributions from this appeal will be used specifically for the puppy vaccinations and dog food stated above, and updates will be shared.

If you are able to sponsor one vaccination, one bag of kibble, or any amount, it will directly help a rescued animal move closer to a healthy life and a loving home.

Thank you for considering this appeal. โค๏ธ

When rescuers first found Beauty, a bald eagle in Alaska, she was barely alive. A single gunshot had destroyed her upper beak, the tool she needed for everything: eating, drinking, grooming, and defending herself. Without it, she was trapped in a slow, inevitable decline. In the wild, she would have survived only a few days.

But a handful of strangers refused to accept that ending.

A wildlife rehabilitator contacted a mechanical engineer. The engineer brought in a dentist. A dentist reached out to a 3D-printing specialist. Piece by piece, a small, unlikely team formed around a single goal: to give a wounded eagle a second chance at life.

They spent months studying Beautyโ€™s injuries, scanning her skull, designing prototypes, and testing materials that were both light enough for flight and strong enough for daily use. Every millimeter mattered. The prosthetic had to match the shape of a beak that no longer existed.

When the final 3D-printed beak was ready, the team attached it with careful precision.

Then, in a room full of people holding their breath, Beauty did something miraculous.

She reached downโ€ฆ
gripped a piece of foodโ€ฆ
and fed herself for the first time since the gunshot.

Some cried. Others laughed in disbelief. All of them knew they had witnessed a turning point โ€” not just for one eagle, but for the future of wildlife rehabilitation.

Over the following months, another surprise emerged. Protected by the prosthetic, Beautyโ€™s natural beak began to regrow underneath it. The device had not only restored her function โ€” it had given her body the chance to heal.

Beauty became the first bald eagle in history to receive a fully functional, 3D-printed beak.
Her story remains a powerful reminder that when compassion and innovation work together, even the most broken lives can be rebuilt.

If one eagle can inspire this level of devotionโ€ฆ imagine what could happen if we offered the same determination to every living being

๐Ÿพ" They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but some stories are too big for just a caption.

URGENT DONATION APPEAL โ€“ YOUR SUPPORT CAN SAVE SIX RESCUED DOGS

Dear Valued Donor,

Persatuan Haiwan Terbiar Malaysia (SAFM) has recently *rescued six abandoned female dogs* from Gombak. All six dogs are currently on heat, placing them at immediate risk of becoming pregnant. Without timely intervention, this could lead to an even larger number of stray puppies suffering on the streets.

Your support has always made a real difference, and today we humbly reach out again. These dogs urgently need essential treatment to ensure their safety and well-being.

Essential Care Required (Per Dog):
1.Neuter: RM180
2.Vaccination: RM40
3.NexGard: RM45
4.Rabies Vaccine: RM60
5.Two Days Boarding: RM50

Total Cost Per Dog: RM375

Once treated, the dogs will be moved to the SAFM Sanctuary at Gombak, where they will continue to be monitored, fed, and cared for.

We sincerely hope you will consider sponsoring one dog. A contribution of RM375 is enough to completely protect a dog from suffering and prevent further stray overpopulation. Your kindness can change a life immediately.
