🕷️✨ Meet the Pamphobeteus sp. “Mascara” — also known as the Mascara Giant Birdeater!

Belonging to the genus Pamphobeteus, this stunning tarantula is admired for its impressive size and the unique dark “mascara-like” markings around its eyes. Like other Pamphobeteus species, it is a New World terrestrial tarantula, requiring space, deep substrate, and stable humidity to thrive.

They are fast-growing and can reach a large leg span, making them a prized specimen for serious tarantula keepers. While they are not considered beginner-friendly due to their defensive nature and size, observing their growth and behavior is a truly rewarding part of the hobby.

Witness one of nature’s most fearless moms in action!
Our beautiful female Asian Forest Scorpion has just given birth and is now carrying a brood of tiny white scorplings on her back. 🐾👶

💡 Did You Know?
Asian Forest Scorpions give live birth, and the babies climb onto their mother’s back immediately after being born.
They’ll ride there for up to two weeks—totally dependent on her for warmth, protection, and survival. ❤️

She won’t eat. She won’t move much.
Her one mission: protect her young.
This is one of the fiercest displays of maternal instinct in the arachnid world. 💪
