A little swelling became something more serious. ๐Ÿถ

This boy came in uncomfortable, painful and diagnosed with orchitis โ€” an infection and inflammation of the testicles that can seriously affect a dogโ€™s health and comfort.

If left untreated, orchitis can lead to severe pain, abscesses, fever, and systemic infection.

Following assessment and treatment, castration surgery was performed as part of his management and recovery.

The uterus fills with pus and releases toxins into the bloodstream, leading to fever, lethargy, loss of appetite, and potentially death.

โ€ขโ  โ Closed โ€“ no visible discharge and more dangerous as often it goes unnoticed
