Cosecant, a senior poodle, came to us with early-stage kidney disease and severe dental issues that had slowly robbed him of his appetite. The rotten teeth in his mouth were causing chronic pain and had led to a sinus infection, resulting in persistent flu-like symptoms.
A dental extraction was performed to remove the source of infection and discomfort. Unfortunately, we encountered a complicationโCosecant experienced profuse nosebleeds and sneezing due to sinus irritation. The bleeding eventually subsided but still recurs occasionally..
After almost 10 days of supportive care, weโre happy to share that Cosecant became more active and had a livelier gait. Though he initially required syringe feeding as part of his recovery, he returned for a follow-up todayโand weโre thrilled to hear heโs finally eating on his own โค๏ธโ๐ฉน

We honestly thought Cosecant might not make it, but this brave little fighter pulled through. ๐ฅฒ Thank you to his loving owner for never giving up on him and trusting us throughout the journey.
