Langkawi LASSie LASSie currently houses neglected, abused and needy animals. We welcome volunteers for short or long term. No donation is too small.

We no longer run the trap, neuter and release programme and hence shifting our focus on the well being of our residents. We are aided and supported by the beautiful Bon Ton resort with whom we are neighbors, as well as Straits Collection and China House which brings arts and culture toge

ther in Penang. A visit to these establishments means more help for our furry friends at LASSie. You can help us by volunteering in your free time, walking dogs, fostering and adopting your pets from us, donating toys, treats, medicine, building materials, food, and money. It was a traumatising morning for us as we lost a kitten to a python. Our volunteer walked in to the cat area this morning and found the cats edgy and staring at the corner of the kennel. She then saw a full bellied Reticulated python staring at her. It probably came around to hunt for food at night and unfortunately took a very curious 5 months old kitten of ours. It couldn't escape through the fence after that. We then called the fire services to take it away. The python got angry when it was disturbed so it regurgitated the poor little kitty. At least we got our kitty back and buried it. RIP Clumsy. You were a hero. You saved your other feline friends.
