✨ Today at the WCF competition we had a little mix-up: our junior cat entered the Top 8 in the Junior Ring, but after a discussion between two judges it was confirmed that the color is flaxen gold, which is still only provisionally recognized in WCF — meaning the entry could not advance further. A small hiccup, but definitely part of the journey 🐾

💡 Fun fact about flaxen gold:
• A rare and beautiful lighter shade of golden ✨
• Can be listed in pedigrees, and cats with this color can still join and be ranked in rings prior to the judges’ final color decision
• The only limitation is they are not yet eligible for Best in Show nominations
• Judges often admire this shade, and there’s even talk it could be fully recognized soon — maybe next year! 🐾

We feel so happy and honored that the judges really liked and praised the cat we bred 💛 Their kind words mean so much to us, and we’re very proud.
