PM Veterinary Clinic is looking for a full time Accounts cm Admin Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable with accounts/admin tasks in a veterinary clinic office setting.

Position: Accounts cm Admin Assistant
Working Location: PM Veterinary Clinic, Batu Kawa Branch
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:00am–12:00pm, 1:00pm–5:00pm
Saturday: Work on some Saturdays as required

Requirements:
Minimum diploma in accounting or related field, 1–2 years of accounts/admin experience, good in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, and basic accounting knowledge.

Important: Must be able to communicate in Mandarin, English and BM.

Welcome to Day 3 and our final day of surgeries for the Bario Neutering Mission! In Part 1 of our interview, Dr. Kelvin shares a behind-the-scenes look at our team's visit to a local Penan family.

Operating in rural areas without proper water or electricity supply presents unique challenges. After a difficult first night where conditions only allowed us to safely neuter one male dog, our team returned at daylight to successfully neuter four male cats and safely transport four female dogs back to our main surgery site.

What truly touched our hearts was the incredible willingness of the local residents. Despite their challenging living conditions, they are deeply committed to neutering their pets and getting them vaccinated against rabies. Their dedication plays a vital role in controlling the animal population in Sarawak. Let's continue working together towards our shared goal of completely eliminating rabies by 2030!

[Part 2] Day 2 of our Bario Neutering Mission turned out to be unexpectedly busy, but incredibly rewarding!

Many locals initially hesitated, thinking the campaign might be a scam after years of struggling to find veterinary care. But once they saw our team working alongside the Veterinary Department, trust was built, leading to a huge surge in on-the-spot surgeries.

Two cases really stood out to us. First, a local owner brought in his hunting dogs for neutering, knowing it would help reduce fighting within his pack. Second, we visited a true cat kingdom, a home with 18 cats! We successfully neutered 13 adult cats there, helping the owner manage the population so these feline friends can live happy, healthy lives without causing further difficulties.

Our team worked tirelessly until 9:30 PM and ended the day completely exhausted, but knowing we made a real difference for the Bario community and their pets makes every second worth it.

This mission wouldn’t have been possible without the support from so many kind hearts and organisations. Truly grateful for everyone who played a part, whether on the ground or behind the scenes.
