The team at Haka said goodbye to Dr Bala today. He was the unsung hero in the Equestrian world and taught us a lot about caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. May you finally be relieved of all your pain and suffering and fly free in Heaven with all the many legged babies you cared for who have passed. There will never be another you. 🕉️

A furbaby, regardless of species will always be special and fill our hearts with joy.
Sending a lot of love to Mummy and Daddy Haka at the loss of their beloved Princess who passed away yesterday, 4th August 2020. Ironically, she was found on the 4th of August 2013 💔

A little video on the beautiful cats who spent such a long time with us before flying to Auckland. We miss them so much. Especially when you have a set routine around their daily needs but as one of the owners put it, 'Now it gives you more space to help more furbabies get home🤗' This amazing feat was fully handled by Jetfast Pet Express. Gizmo and Olive came to us first all the way from Indonesia to head home to Australia. Pizzi joined us in March after his and his doggo sister's relocation was botched by an irresponsible agent🤦‍♀️
And then came Covid-19 👾 and all the chaos it brought.
So how do you say goodbye? When the day finally came for them to leave along with 6 other dogs🐶 all heading to Auckland, the tears flowed freely from the night before. Pizzi🐱 came to sit with us for a long time, looking into our eyes as if to say thank you. Gizmo🐱 ran around the house in his special slip and slide way and Olive🐱 gave us her last wail for food all the way from kitchen to bowl. It was the sweetest goodbye with us watching and tracking the flight until it landed. Definitely one of the happiest yet emotional moments in our lives.
