Did you know that cats and dogs need dental treatment too? •

They get plaque build up and gingivitis just like us humans! Then there is also the rare bad tooth that requires extraction. •

But unlike humans who will willingly keep our mouths open for an examination or a procedure, our furry darlings WILL bite and/or scratch (can you see Mike about to claw us?) when we try to get their mouths open, which is why veterinary dental procedures are performed under general anaesthesia. •
