Meet Elaine – Plaza Damas Branch Leader & Certified Groomer at Beh & Yo
Elaine joined the Beh & Yo family in 2022 as the Branch Leader of our Plaza Damas outlet. With her strong dedication and passion for rabbits, she completed a full year of intensive in-house training and proudly became a Beh & Yo Certified Groomer in 2023.

Elaine is hardworking, passionate, and has an impressive memory for both rabbits and their owners. She also takes pride in keeping the shop super clean and comfy at all times—let’s just say, if cleanliness were an Olympic sport, she’d bring home the gold. 🧼🏅 (Even the dust are scared of her.)

She learns fast, keeps upgrading her grooming skills, and is knowledgeable in rabbit care. With her steady hands and leadership, Elaine is a key person in Beh & Yo’s future expansion. We’re lucky to have her as part of our team.

Kenali Elaine – Ketua Cawangan Plaza Damas & Groomer Bertauliah Beh & Yo
Elaine menyertai keluarga Beh & Yo pada tahun 2022 sebagai Ketua Cawangan di Plaza Damas. Dengan semangat dan dedikasi yang tinggi terhadap arnab, beliau menamatkan latihan dalaman selama setahun dan secara rasmi menjadi Groomrr Bertauliah Beh & Yo pada tahun 2023.

Elaine rajin, bersemangat dan mudah mengingati nama serta perangai arnab pelanggan – malah sangat menjaga kebersihan kedai. Kedai di bawah jagaan Elaine sentiasa bersih dan selesa – kalau ada sukan kebersihan, dia mesti menang pingat emas! 🧼🏅 (Sampaikan habuk pun tak berani muncul!)

🐰 Rabbit Dental Health – Understanding Malocclusion

A healthy rabbit’s upper and lower incisors align perfectly and wear down naturally through daily chewing.

🔹 Bottom Image: Malocclusion
This condition shows misaligned teeth, often due to improper jaw alignment. The teeth grow excessively because they don’t meet properly to grind down.

🚫 MYTH: “Rabbits get malocclusion because they don’t eat hay.”
✅ FACT: Malocclusion is primarily caused by genetics. Jaw development is controlled by inherited traits. External factors like trauma may contribute, but the genetic factor is the most common cause.

🦷 Misaligned teeth can cause severe pain, difficulty eating, and may require veterinary treatment—such as trimming, corrective surgery, or even tooth extraction.

✅ Key Prevention Tip for Breeders:
Selective breeding is crucial. Avoid breeding rabbits with jaw alignment issues to reduce the risk of inherited dental problems.

Note for Owners:
🛑 Malocclusion is not caused by hay refusal alone, it’s not your fault if your rabbit develops it, even with the best care.

🔍 Regular health checks are essential to detect dental issues early.
If you suspect your rabbit has dental problems, consult an experienced rabbit vet immediately.

牙齿错位，常见于上下颌骨结构不良，导致门牙无法正常对咬，持续生长，形成严重问题。

🚫 迷思：錯頜症是因为兔子不吃草？
✅ 事实：錯頜症主要是由遗传造成的。
兔子的颌骨发育受基因控制。虽然外伤等外部因素也可能造成牙齿问题，但遗传因素才是最常见的根源。

🦷 錯頜症会导致剧烈疼痛、进食困难，甚至需要兽医进行修牙、手术或拔牙等治疗。

✅ 给繁殖者的重要提醒：
必须进行选择性繁殖。避免使用有颌骨结构问题的兔子进行繁殖，以降低遗传性牙齿问题的风险。

给兔主人的提醒：
🛑 牙齿错位并不只是因为不吃草，即使你尽了最大的努力照顾，兔子仍然可能出现这个问题。这不是你的错。

🔍 定期健康检查有助于及早发现牙齿问题。

Keadaan ini menunjukkan gigi tidak sejajar, selalunya disebabkan oleh struktur rahang yang tidak sempurna. Gigi akan terus tumbuh kerana tidak bergesel secara semula jadi.

🚫 MITOS: “Arnab dapat masalah gigi sebab tak makan hay.”
✅ FAKTA:Malocclusion berpunca terutamanya daripada faktor genetik.
Pembentukan rahang ditentukan oleh baka dan keturunan. Trauma atau kecederaan boleh menjadi faktor tambahan, tetapi genetik adalah punca utama.

🦷 Gigi yang tidak sejajar boleh menyebabkan kesakitan yang teruk, sukar makan, dan mungkin memerlukan rawatan veterinar — seperti potong gigi, pembedahan, atau cabutan gigi.

✅ Nasihat penting untuk penternak:
Pembiakbakaan terpilih amat penting. Elakkan membiak arnab dengan masalah struktur rahang untuk mengurangkan risiko masalah gigi yang diwarisi.

Meet Nadia – Our Passionate Groomer at Beh & Yo, Plaza Damas

At Beh & Yo, every groomer is trained with care, patience, and deep respect for the rabbits we serve—and Nadia is a shining example of this.

Nadia joined Beh & Yo in 2020 as a retail assistant at our Plaza Damas branch. From her very first day, she showed an incredible curiosity and dedication to learning everything about rabbit care. Over time, she mastered rabbit handling techniques, product knowledge, and the art of gentle grooming.

In 2021, after a full year of hands-on training and mentorship, Nadia officially became a Beh & Yo Certified Groomer. Since then, she’s spent the past four years grooming rabbits with a calm, confident touch and a heart full of passion.

What makes Nadia special is her eagerness to grow—she’s always learning new techniques and finding better ways to comfort and care for every bunny that visits her. Her gentle approach and deep understanding of rabbit behaviour have earned the trust of many rabbit parents.

Understanding Rabbit Front Leg Weakness

Healthy rabbits should have strong, straight front legs that support their body weight. However, some rabbits may show signs of weakness in their front limbs. Here’s how to spot the difference.

Signs of Weak Front Legs:
• Front legs form a V-shape when viewed from the front
• Front feet kick outward or point sideways
• Rabbit struggles to support its front body weight
• Difficulty standing or hopping properly

What Strong Front Legs Look Like:
• Legs are straight and parallel
• Feet point forward, not out
• The front limbs support the upper body with ease
• Rabbit can stand and move normally

Possible Causes of Weak Front Legs:
• Birth defects
• Injury or nerve damage
• Nutritional deficiency (especially calcium or vitamin D)
• Muscular or skeletal disorders

🩺 If your rabbit shows signs of front leg weakness, consult a rabbit-savvy vet immediately. Early intervention can improve comfort and mobility.

Spot the Difference: Rabbit Hind Leg Structure

The hind feet are angled outward, forming a V shape. This suggests pinched hindquarters, which are narrower and may lead to instability, poor posture, or inefficient movement when hopping.

🟢 Image B – Ideal Hind Legs (Straight & Parallel)
The hind legs are straight and parallel, with good separation. This reflects broad, round, and muscular hindquarters — a sign of a strong, healthy rabbit.

👉 Proper hind leg alignment is crucial for balance, ease of movement, and long-term joint health. It’s also a key trait in show-quality rabbits and should be part of every grooming and health assessment.

找出差異：兔子的後腿結構

後腳向外張開，形成 V 字形。這表示臀部較窄、發育不足，可能導致不穩定的站姿、錯誤的姿勢，或在跳躍時動作不順暢。
