Lev enjoying his meal. His world may be silent and (almost) dark but that doesn't stop him from being the joyful, sweet and grateful boy he is. He is never fussy, eats anything you give him with that happy smile on his face and never gives any trouble. He is not perfect (reality check - no one is), but is nonetheless the easiest boy we've cared for by far.

Sometimes I feel bad for he deserves so much more than what we can offer him, but I know the time will come for when he finally gets to have a family and a home to call his own, his forever family who will treasure him and wholeheartedly love and pamper him despite his age, being deaf and almost 100% blind. (Lev is estimated to be 9 years old.) Not everyone has a heart big enough to adopt a dog like Lev and love him unconditionally but I know there are special people like that out there. Lev is just waiting for his special people. 🩵

Physically healthy with no ongoing medical issues.
👀 Tunnel vision – can see nearby objects clearly but only shadows from afar. He navigates new places quickly and confidently once familiar.
👂🏻 Nearly deaf – doesn’t react to thunderstorms or fireworks

🚽 Potty Habits
Lev uses his sense of smell to find potty spots, due to his vision.
He goes:
📥 On potty trays in the hall
🚽 In the toilet (we have a potty tray/pad there too)
💦 Occasionally follows another dog's marking scent

He’s in a multi-dog home but doesn't give trouble or bother anyone. He adjusts well to routine.

🍽️ What Lev Eats
He LOVES food and isn’t picky!
✔️ Homecooked meals (mostly our Hoomans & Furiends steamed meals)
✔️ Meats: chicken, pork, beef, lamb, mutton, duck
✔️ Veggies: pumpkin, carrot, broccoli, green beans, sweet potato, peas, cabbage
✔️ Soft treats (he has a gentle jaw and swallows rather than chews)
✔️ Favourite extras: scrambled eggs, apples, French toast
✔️ Supper: Ishkan or Bow Wow Soft Kibbles when he's hungry at night

🐾 Brief History
Lev was heartbreakingly abandoned on the streets when his former family moved away. His condition showed years of neglect. But from the very beginning, he showed nothing but love and gentleness. 🥹💙
We got him all the medical care he needed – and he’s been nothing short of a blessing since.

Lev is truly a special soul – the easiest, most peaceful pup we’ve ever cared for.
He brings a deep sense of calm, joy and love wherever he goes.

Lev received a Christmas 🎄 and New Year 🎊 angpao from Dr. Snuggles, Mr. Roboto and their very big-hearted mommy, so we topped up his favourite snacks and treats. All soft ones since Uncle Lev doesn't have the strongest teeth. 🤭

He eats our premium Wholesale Meals for his lunch and dinner, and the above are snacks n treats he enjoys. Bow Wow soft kibbles (or sometimes Ishkan Soft when we have the budget) is his supper. He eats 3x a day. The rest are in between snacks and treats including bedtime treats. Everyone here gets a treat before bedtime. It keeps them (and us) happy. 🩷 🩵

Thank you Dr. Snuggles, Mr. Roboto and mommy. You guys have been very good to Lev, always remembering him and sending him gifts of love, even at the times we don't post or ask. We are touched and grateful. May you be blessed abundantly across all areas. Lots of love from us to you. 🙏🏻💖🥹✨🌹

This is Lev's second chance at life - and his very first at knowing the unconditional love of a family. Don’t dwell on his heartbreaking past; instead, let’s focus on the beautiful future he deserves.

Lev is an 8-year-old sweetheart who has endured so much yet remains incredibly gentle and loving. He is partially blind and quite deaf, but that doesn’t stop him from being the sweetest, most loving boy. He is the easiest boy to care for, very mellow and makes the perfect companion for someone who values quiet, tender moments.

When Lev was found wandering the streets in April, efforts to locate his previous home revealed that he had been thrown out when his family moved away. His condition also showed that for years, he was neglected, unloved, and denied the care every dog deserves, even when he had a family. Despite it all, Lev’s heart remains open and so full of hope and love. He is a very strong and resilient boy so we know that he has not given up on waiting for his real family who will love him unconditionally back.

Lev is a simple boy with simple joys. He loves his meals, enjoys a comfy nap, and will gladly be by your side, offering quiet companionship. If you stroke his head, he will almost immediately drift off to sleep! He is ideal for someone with a peaceful lifestyle or someone retired, looking for a loyal, loving presence in their life.

Our mission is to ensure Lev’s past becomes a distant memory and his future is filled with love, safety, and comfort. He deserves a family who will pamper him, cherish him, and give him the life he was always meant to have.

Meet Lev, our sweet, gentle n goofy 8-year-old rescue! 💕 He was rescued in April after his previous family abandoned him when they moved away. He was in bad shape—skinny, had bad skin, ear growths, n eye infections. But from the moment we held him, he stole our hearts. We felt the gentleness of his soul n his deep love n gratitude despite everything he'd been through. That’s why we named him Lev, which means “heart” in Hebrew... 🩵

We took him to Furkids Wellness Ctr, where we discovered he had poor hearing n vision n benign ear growths from untreated infections. Lev was heartworm +ve too. His condition showed signs of years of neglect, without any vet care, even while he had a home. But aside from that, he was a healthy boy.

We started him on the necessary treatments, n after a week+ at the vet, he came home with us. Lev stayed with a foster for a while before returning to us, where we continued his care. We made sure he received the best food, stayed clean n comfortable, n got the loving attention he deserves. We paid for what we could n raised funds for the rest, including his vet bills. We are now catching up on the last 3 bills we hope you can help with. (Sponsor/donation details are in the post 💕).

Lev has come a long way—he’s now a happy, cheeky n VERY good boy! He’s been a little hero through his heartworm treatment. His doctor can attest to that. N all the while he’s here, he’s the easiest n goodest boy too. The 2 things he loves most are food n head rubs – stroke his head n he’ll drift right off to sleep! He’s calm, quiet, n most of the time will be asleep on his bed, a random cushion he discovered, or curled up next to you. Lev is perfect for both landed or apartment/condo living—he rarely barks, n even when he does, it’s soft n husky.

Lev is ready for adoption, n we want to find him a home where he’s treated like the gem he is. He must live indoors and not be caged or chained. He’s semi-potty trained n can be taught a routine for outdoor potty breaks or on a balcony/lanai.
