A flying river turtle was recently presented to us in critical condition due to severe pneumonia, lethargic, weak, and struggling.

Reptiles are masters at hiding illness, and by the time clinical signs appear, they are often already in a serious state.

With timely intervention, she was started on:
• Targeted antibiotic therapy
• Nebulisation to support respiratory function
• Adjunct acupuncture session to aid recovery

Over the following days, her condition gradually improved, breathing normalized, activity returned, and appetite picked up.

Today, she is stable and on the road to full recovery.

💡 A reminder to reptile owners:
Subtle changes like reduced activity, floating imbalance, or open-mouth breathing should never be ignored.

Early detection can make the difference between life and loss.

Back in December 2025, Angus the rottweiler was brought to us in a very critical condition —
lethargic, not eating, visibly jaundiced, and overall very weak.

Blood results were… honestly heartbreaking.
Parameters were severely elevated, and the prognosis was extremely guarded. At one point, we were preparing ourselves for the worst.

But the owners didn’t give up.
And neither did we.

With their full support, we decided to try exosome therapy as part of the treatment plan.

What happened next surprised even us. Within just 2 days, the patient became noticeably more energetic. Appetite started to return. Kidney parameters began improving significantly.

By early January, all blood values were back within normal range.

This case reminded us that:
Sometimes, when things look hopeless, there’s still a chance worth fighting for.

To the owners: thank you for trusting us till the very end.
