Today, we found a pigeon left at our clinic doorstep, along with these notes.
We understand you may be worried about the bird’s health. However, abandoning an animal like this is not the right way to seek help. A responsible person should never leave their pet like this without proper communication. For your information, abandoning animals is against the law.
Under the Animal Welfare Act 2015 (Akta Kebajikan Haiwan 2015), abandonment of animals is a punishable offence.
We kindly ask the person who left this pigeon to come forward and meet us for a civil discussion.
We are more than willing to work with you to find the best solution for the pigeon, but we need full cooperation, honesty, and responsibility from your side.
Please contact us or come directly to the clinic as soon as possible. We are giving you until 3:00 PM today to come to the clinic.
If no one comes forward, we will have no choice but to file a police report and lodge a complaint with the relevant authorities.

If you find an animal in need, please do the right thing. speak to your vet properly, don’t just abandon them. We are here to help, but it has to be a joint effort.
