Didi, rest in peace
Thank you for coming into my life.
Twelve years have passed, and you seemed to understand nothing, yet somehow you understood everything.
You stayed by my side through the lowest valleys and countless days and nights.
I’m truly grateful for your presence—
you brought me so much happiness.
I hope that after you leave Mommy, you won’t be sad.
Don’t skip meals waiting for us, and don’t shed tears alone.
You’ve been through so much these days, now rest well, and when you wake up, go have fun.
If you miss us, come see us—in my dreams.
We will always be here, and we will always love you.
We made a promise: next life, don’t be a dog again—be my child.
Mommy still has so much love to give you, so much to cherish you,
and so many places to take you to play and run around.
We will always wait for you, Didi.
Eat well, play well over there,
and when the time comes, do your best to find us.
But if it’s too hard to find us, it’s okay to stop looking.
If there’s a kind family who will love and take care of you, you can stay with them—
Mommy won’t be upset.
