Looks like Bobob is surprised by his own fur too! 👀‼️

This condition is called pelted fur, where tangled fur becomes tightly matted and clumps close to the skin. If left untreated, it can pull on the skin and cause discomfort or irritation.

Regular brushing can help prevent tangles from getting worse, especially for long-haired cats. If your cat’s fur is already tightly matted, it’s best to let a professional groomer handle it safely. 🪮✂️❤️‍🩹

Does your cat have the same fur condition as Bobob? 🐱

🩺🐾 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 🐈‍⬛🩹

Post-op care doesn’t end once your cat is home. Even if they seem perfectly fine, their stitches are still healing, their skin can be sensitive, and they’re still at risk of infection.

At Cat Check-in, we’ll keep a close eye on their recovery by:
🌿 Checking their wound regularly
🌿 Giving medication on time and at the right dose
🌿 Keeping their space clean and comfortable
🌿 Monitoring their appetite & litter output
🌿 Watching for signs of stress, over-licking or reduced activity

This is especially helpful for catparents who are working, have limited space to isolate their cats at home or simply want their cats to have a more closely monitored recovery.

DM us for more details & availability 🐈✨
